St Anthony of Padua Community Association is a registered charity and limited company with over 30 years’ experience of providing a range of care services. We provide Day Care, Home Care and Extra Care Housing across the East End of Newcastle. We are a ‘not for profit’, value-based organisation.
As a regulated Home Care provider, the Care Quality Commission has rated us “Outstanding”.
Reporting to our Registered Care Manager you will be responsible for assessing care needs and devising, reviewing care packages and risk assessments for both new and existing service users covering the East End of the City.
This will involve meeting with service users and families in their homes and liaison with specialist services such as social workers and hospitals to ensure that all care requirements are met and are appropriately documented.
You will also have responsibility for investigating and resolving any complaints / concerns that arise as well as the completion of risk assessments documentation associated with providing care.
You will have proven care experience in a similar level role within an Adult Care setting and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social or equivalent or be progressing towards it.
You will have proven experience in assessing care needs and writing and reviewing care plans with a sound knowledge of the relevant care standards which are regulated through the Care Quality Commission.
You should possess a professional, friendly approach with attention to detail and the ability to work in a methodical and organised manner at all times.
