Tim O'Grady - Chair
Tim has a Lifetime in education in a number of roles: teacher; community education worker; project evaluator; Local Authority Officer; secondary Head teacher.
Catherine Atwell - Vice Chair & Chair People Culture & Performance
HR roles within manufacturing, automotive, IT, and food manufacture. As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personal and Development she plays an active role in the North East of England CIPD branch where she recently served full tenure as Branch Chair. Catherine is also a volunteer mentor for Sunderland University professional mentoring scheme. Graduating from the University of Sunderland with a BSc. (Hons) Catherine has continued her professional development with a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, and is now a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.
Roy Stanley is a North East of England based entrepreneur. He is an experienced business person having been a director of a number of public and private businesses. He has been chairman of two AIM listed companies. Roy was Chairman of Business Enterprise Group,from 2008 to 2012, a body responsible for managing significant funding to help businesses start and grow in the North East of England. Roy has been involved in Young Enterprise and a number of local schools. He was Chair of Durham Scouts for two years from 2011. He has several charitable interests and is an investor in a number of private and public businesses. Married with three children, Roy holds an MBA from Newcastle University.
Julie Campbell BSc (Hons) in Nursing Studies and Emergency Care. None Medical Prescriber. Current role: Nurse Practitioner and Team Lead in Community Services for the NHS. Julie has worked for Newcastle Hospital trust for over 30 yrs and has experience in a variety of specialities.
Michael Donnelly has worked within the Parish for the last 30 years serving as the formerHead teacher at the parish school, St Alban’s RC Primary, and as a trustee of theAssociation for the last 10 years. Michael brings extensive leadership, management and administration experience to the board
Jim McLaughlin - Secretary
Jim has worked as a businessman in the local area for over 40 years and is now semi-retired. Jim is an active member of the local community and is also a member of StAnthony’s Parish.
Ben qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and is employed by a thriving North East practice. He specialises in Family law and is also a committee member of the North East branch of Resolution who are dedicated to the constructive resolution of family disputes.
Daryn has over 24 years experience in accountancy, finance and business.
